Meet our team

Stephen Paraskeva

Owner of Accelerate Driving School.
I qualified as a driving instructor in 2009, since qualifying I have improved my skills as a driving instructor. I passed a BTEC Level 4 in Coaching for Driver Development, which was run by the Tri – Coaching Partnership. I then trained to be a Driving instructor trainer, and went on to be an Ordit instructor trainer.

I have also been an National trainer for the Institute of Advanced Motorist for motorbikes, I was one of the first people in the UK to pass the new test at the time with a 1st top marks. I continue to take CPD as things are always changing in this industry, I like to keep up with new techniques and ideas. I have always tried to give my pupils top quality coaching and training. I like my lessons to be client centred, which is reflected in the instructors who I train and then join the company. This has helped me build a great reputation for the company, with the help of my instructors. We have been rated the best driving school in Bath and surrounding areas, by Www.threebestrated.co.uk for the past 3 years.

Ken Clements

Ken has been working as a Driving Instructor since 2015, he takes pride in his work and has a patient disposition. He is a proud father who enjoys helping with football coaching in his spare time. He works around Radstock  Peasedown and south Bath.

John Pearce

I’ve been working as a driving instructor since 2006 and have helped many pupils pass their tests and be confident on the road since then. Being able to equip people with skills that are completely life-changing gives a great sense of reward and enjoyment on a day by day basis. Outside of driving lessons I love to spend time with my wife and three children. I help coach a local junior football team and also do voluntary work with young people.

David Messer

David is another ADI who did his training to become an instructor at Accelerate Instructor training, David was really committed and passed with flying colours. David covers the Trowbridge and south side of Bath, he has a very relaxed personality and enjoys helping his pupils to pass their driving test to become independent. David drives a manual Ford Fiesta another easy car to drive.

Wayne Shermon

I’ve been helping people improve their driving skills since summer 2015, and its been a whole lot more fun than the office based jobs I did for the 33 years before then.

I have met some really interesting people driving and I still get a huge amount of job satisfaction when someone I am working with achieves something new. Its not just about the final pass, (although I’ve helped 106 people pass so far) there’s lots of milestones to celebrate along the way.

Personally, I enjoy holidays and try to spend as much time as I can with family. I have a allotment where my wife and I grow the best veggies in Bristol. After sitting in the car all day its good to get out in the open air!

Andrew Bush

Andrew Bush trained at Accelerate driving instructor training in 2019 and passed all his 3 tests first time, he has a very relaxed teaching style but likes to make sure all his pupils have all the information they will need. He does this by sending out plenty of info before the and after each lesson, this helps them to prepare in advance for future lessons. Andrew covers the Batheaston side of Bath, he drives a manual Citroen Cactus at the moment.

Brione Kerr

Brione did all her training with Accelerate driving instructor training, this took a bit longer than normal due to the Covid issues. She has experience dealing with the public, as she was a manager in the retail trade. She has a calm personality, also very detailed in her training. She drives a Toyota Yaris hybrid automatic and covers the Bath area.
